I need to eat before a workout. If I exercise in the morning I'll have a little oatmeal cereal or a hard-boiled egg with toast. If I go in the afternoon I'll eat a turkey sandwich with cheese for lunch.
My wife gets pampered pretty well. She's had me trained since she was pregnant when I started making her oatmeal with fresh berries every morning.
I always like to start my morning with a good amount of fruit. I really like pineapple particularly because of the enzymes that it has. Sometimes I have oatmeal. But if I'm feeling like I really want to be watching my weight more then I definitely do a protein like an omelet scrambled eggs or some smoked salmon.
I can't tell you enough about cinnamon. Cinnamon is an awesome spice to use and it goes great with something like apples in the morning or in a mixture of fruit or in your oatmeal or even in your cereal.
I love my daughter but she had me on couscous and fixed me pastas and made me eat oatmeal every morning and what else turkey burgers turkey bacon and that kind of stuff. So she wants her dad to live a long time and I do too.
