Respect... is appreciation of the separateness of the other person of the ways in which he or she is unique.

Love is union with somebody or something outside oneself under the condition of retaining the separateness and integrity of one's own self.

The best things and best people rise out of their separateness I'm against a homogenized society because I want the cream to rise.
